RDR 2 has many amazing details and features it lets you interact with. One such feature is using a lantern. There is just one major issue with it, it forces you to give up one of your precious hands despite the fact that Arthur attaches it to his satchel often.
\nWith Stash That Lantern you will now have complete control over your lantern!<\/p>\n

While in-game, you will now have the option of attaching your lantern to your satchel at will!
\nNo more \u201cLantern on Belt\u201d glitches needed!
\nAs of 2.0, you can now attach your lantern to your horse as well utilizing the same controls provided it has a saddle on it.
\nWhen mounting a horse with your lantern on your satchel, the lantern will automatically be transferred to the horse you are currently on; when leaving, it will return to you.<\/p>\n

Controls are contextual and are as follows:
\nWhile your Lantern is equipped press the \u201cReload\u201d button on your Keyboard\/Mouse or Controller.
\nBy default, these are \u201cR\u201d and \u201cB\u201d respectively.
\nIf you want to remove it from your satchel, simply reselect the lantern from the weapon wheel, pressing the \u201cHolster\u201d button will return it to your inventory.
\nAs of 2.6: When pressing the \u201cReload\u201d button while holding a pistol or revolver in your primary hand, you will now be able to take the lantern back off your satchel without holstering your pistol<\/p>\n
