Guess it\u2019s time for my first resto-rig and the Tilt Cab Special is anything but your run-of-the-mill semi.
\nThe theme is vintage recovery rig \u2014 meets modern performance.
\nThis truck is a bit rare and definitely has a unique look. It was produced from 1966-71 by the manufacturer that rhymes with lodge (console-friendly stuff here).
\nBTW\u2026the front brand emblem is intentionally misspelled to keep it console-friendly.
\nIf the body looks familiar, it\u2019s because the medium-duty cabover shares styling cues from \u2018lodges\u2019 iconic 60\u2019s van\/pickup.
\nWhile the hot rodders loved the look of this rig, it never really caught on due to its super-short chassis, poor handling, and build quality.
\nAll that changes with is truck. It\u2019s built-in a restomod style like all of my mods.
\nThe stock cabin sits on a fully custom, wide-stance chassis to make it more stable on rough terrain and give it an aggressive look.
\nIt\u2019s powered by 5.9L 12-Valve diesel engine with either a compound or triple turbo setup.
\nThere are a variety of tunes and tire specs to fit most styles of gameplay.<\/p>\n
