Western Star 6900 TwinSteer \u2013 All Axles Steerabel Mod<\/p>\n
This mod makes all of the axles of the Western Star 6900 TwinSteer Truck steerable and thus improving the manoeuvrability greatly on this huge truck.<\/p>\n
Note: The effects are more noticeable in game than in the screenshots!<\/p>\n
What\u2019s different to the vanilla game experience?
\nThe two axles at the far end of the truck have been made steerable, thus improving the manoeuvrability of this truck greatly.<\/p>\n
This also serves as an example on how to do so. Feel free to try it with other trucks by changing the respective values!<\/p>\n
How to install the mod?
\nClose your game and be sure to backup your original \u201cinitial.pak\u201d file!<\/p>\n
1) Download and unzip the file.<\/p>\n
2) Go to your game directory (i.e. Epic Library\\SnowRunner\\en_us\\preload\\paks\\client\\) and open \u201cinitial.pak\u201d with WinRAR (it\u2019s free).<\/p>\n
3) Go to the right place by doubleclicking on the \u201c[media]\u201d folder, followed by the \u201cclasses\u201d folder and then again on the \u201ctrucks\u201d folder that are shown within WinRAR.<\/p>\n
4) Drag & Drop the file \u201cws_6900xd_twin.xml\u201d you downloaded into WinRAR and confirm the action with \u201cOK\u201d in the upcoming window without changing any values. It will overwrite the original file.<\/p>\n
5) Close WinRAR. Done.<\/p>\n
Start your game and enjoy!<\/p>\n
(Important note: You need to use the latest\/ current version of WinRAR for it to work! Otherwise your game will crash!)<\/p>\n
Tested in countless hours of play. Works like a charm and also works in Co-Op\/ Multiplayer. If your friend want\u2019s to see\/ experience the same stuff, then he also needs to install the mod!<\/p>\n
